Lottery puts pound;29m into childcare

IT could be you ... or more specifically your child, for the National Lottery is funding 50,000 new out-of-school childcare places. The New Opportunities Fund has put pound;28.9 million into schemes, taking the total out-of-school hours childcare funding to pound;160m. The New Opportunities Fund distributes lottery cash to good causes. Two new rounds for funding applications have been created, with deadlines of April 15 and June 15 next year.
