Young mothers and pregnant teenagers face a patchy education, depending on where they live, according to the YWCA charity. Its survey shows that less than half of councils offer young mothers the full national curriculum. Its campaign, RESPECT young mums, calls for councils to have specialist educational provision by 2008.
