Learning and Teaching Scotland has launched a pound;3 million strategy for pre-school ICT. In a bid to bridge the gap between the provision of ICT in early years and that in primary, LT Scotland will provide a broad range of equipment and training over a two-year period, led by core groups of pre-school staff in each Scottish authority. Deputy education minister Euan Robson said: “Radical improvements are required to ensure we harness young children’s natural enthusiasm and curiosity in relation to ICT.”
