A new course, the first of its kind, aims to answer the need for greater understanding of the different education systems in Europe.

The MA in European Education is due to start in October at the Institute of Education at London University. It is aimed at teachers, lecturers, researchers, administrators and advisers from Britain and overseas who are responsible for developing “the European dimension” in the curriculum or in forging links with European institutions.

The modular course is offered part-time over two to four years or full-time for one year. Details from Amanda Claremont, Institute of Education, 20 Bedford Way, London WC1H OAL (0171 612 6312).
