Friends of the Earth have launched the Mad About series of lesson plans that will help primary teachers bring environmental issues to the classroom. The lesson plans, for use at key stages 1 and 2, cover climate change, waste and recycling, food, air pollution, natural habitats and tropical rainforest and link with the syllabus in geography, citizenship, ICT and English. The new resource is part of the Mad About range which includes booklets and posters designed for children aged six to 10.
