Primary children are being encouraged to make friends. Save the Children has named May 25 as Friendship Friday and is using the day to promote the benefits of friendship to primary pupils.
All participating schools will receive a pack of friendship activities, fun-bands to decorate, and ideas on fundraising for the charity. Those who send in donations will be offered the chance to link with schools around the world.
