A class of 25 Year 3 pupils designed and manufactured a dazzling array of “spectacular spectacles”, incorporating flashing lights and water shooters for a design amp; technology project with several cross-curricular elements, including science, maths, ICT, PSHE. The experience was very rewarding for the pupils and their former class teacher Lyn Robinson, especially when the pupils’ achievements reached the final round of last year’s 3M Primary Innovations Awards, which foster enthusiasm for design, technology and engineering.
