Why are so many of your advertisers for teaching vacancies so rude to their applicants?

They don’t acknowledge applications and don’t even tell the applicants if they haven’t been selected for interview. They opt out of “good manners” by telling applicants that if they haven’t heard by a certain date, then they haven’t got an interview!

Schools expect good manners from their pupils; why can’t they be a bit more good-mannered when they have a vacancy?
