MAPE (Micros and Primary Education) is an organisation dedicated to supporting the use of ICT in primary schools. It has just produced Safety Net: a book of internet activities using safe (and free) sites for children. Among the worksheets and articles included is information on WebQuests (enquiry activities using internet resources).MAPE members can get the publication free of charge, or it is available at pound;10 for others from Val Siviter, Cilgeraint Farm, St Anns, Bethesda, Gwynedd LL57 4AX (Tel: 01248 602655).
