Old Maps gives access to first edition historical maps of the UK dated between 1846 and 1899. All that you have to do is to enter a place name, an address or a grid reference. The site gives access to an extenive digital historical map archive, owned by Landmark and Ordnance Survey, Britain’s national mapping agency. Useful to compare what was in place then and what is there now.
