Schools will be able to receive detailed question-by-question feedback on how their pupils have performed when this year’s GCSE and A-level results are released next month. Edexcel is offering the service on the three million of its scripts which were examined on-screen. Some 5,000 of the board’s 16,000 markers have been trained to mark on-screen. Within two years, the number to be marked electronically will quadruple, the board expects.
