Members of young engineers clubs are challenged to devise an accurate clock for Mars where a day lasts 24 hours and 39.6 minutes. The device could be a sundial or a mechanical or electronic clock. Closing date for registration is May 31 and submissions for design, June 17. The final will be held in December. Winners receive up to pound;500 for their school and a Seiko timepiece for themselves.
