A former Woman Inventor of the Year, Asha Peta Thompson, will be introducing a new collection of textile resources at the show. The Educational Textiles range from Only Asha promises to stimulate learning through play. The first multi-sensory resources to be unveiled are My Bags o’ Fun and Make Believe Mats. My Bags o’ Fun are available in four themed activities - shapes, numbers, feel and fruit, while the Make Believe Mats (70cm by 40cm) cover transport, shopping, wash day and under the sea.

Asha Peta Thompson is a research fellow at Brunel University and has spent the last ten years studying learning and teaching aids for all ages, special needs and abilities. Her aim is to produce “well-designed, stylish and colourful tools for learning”.Stand U82
