Maths prodigy

A 12-year-old North Wales pupil has achieved an A grade in AS-level maths. Cameron Thompson, a pupil at Maelor School, Penley in Wrexham, gained the qualification through distance learning provider ICS with an average score of 92 per cent, having already achieved A* GCSE grades in maths and advanced maths. He is now studying A-level physics.
