Maths triumphs
Fifteen years ago, the CGP revision guides, with their colourful pages and jokes, helped me through my GCSEs. This week, the latest tool in the CGP revision armour landed on my desk: CGP MathsTutor.
What is it?
Available as a site licence for virtual learning environments and individual student DVD-ROMs, this contains hundreds of video tutorials for GCSE maths, separated into higher, foundation and foundation basics. At just #163;3 per student, the guides are outstanding value.
Why is it useful?
The clarity of the menu system is superb - all the major topics are nicely broken down into sections. It contains:
professionally produced videos that are easy to navigate;
concise explanations;
topics examined in several parts, ending with an exam focus.
What else?
