Murder most mathematical

A mini murder mystery shared by whieldon offers an entertaining way to delve into the world of coordinates.

What is it?

A colourful coordinate worksheet. Pupils must discover who the murderer is, where they committed their crime and when, using clues to solve a number of coordinate puzzles.

Why is it useful?

This resource has been expertly designed to offer differentiation within each of the tasks, making it perfect for group work.

What else?

Once your pupils have completed the task, you will be in a strong position to begin teaching straight line graphs. You could also ask pupils to design coordinate mysteries of their own, if you have a free lesson.
