To celebrate the milestones reached by TES Resources this year, TES Topics is launching an exclusive, free Christmas gift for primary teachers today. The 12 Games of Christmas are open-ended, interactive activities for maths, giving pupils the chance to test their symmetry, addition, multiplication and sorting skills, all with a festive flavour and complete with teachers’ notes.

What’s in it?

- Add with Santa - to get more presents into Santa’s sleigh, pupils have to correctly answer a series of addition questions.

- Snowflake subtraction - to win this game, pupils must answer a sequence of subtraction questions by choosing the correct answer from falling snowflakes.

- Christmas tree co-ordinates - in order to win, enter the co-ordinates of each point on a Christmas tree according to its location on a grid. Try making other Christmas pictures, too.

- Bauble symmetry - in this game you have to make sure Christmas tree decorations are the same on both sides. Decide where the baubles should go to make the tree symmetrical.

To download these fun activities and the rest of the 12 Games of Christmas, visit www.topics.tes.co.uk and enter TESXmas11 as the voucher code. @TESConnect.
