Maths targets 'undeliverable'

A campaign group that aims to promote mathematics has described Westminster government plans to overhaul maths teaching in primary schools in England as "undeliverable". National Numeracy said it believes that the draft curriculum is "overloaded" and relies much too heavily on rote learning.
