Mayor’s gift to new Unicorn

A further pound;1 million has been awarded to the UK’s first purpose-built theatre for children. The money was awarded by Ken Livingstone, mayor of London, through the London Development Agency. Construction work on the Unicorn Theatre for Children has just begun in Southwark, London, but a further pound;2m is needed to bring funding up to the pound;11.5m estimated cost of the building.
