Young filmmakers can see their movies on the big screen if they win a UK-wide competition run by Aberdeen University.
The inaugural Junior Director’s Cut is open to youngsters aged between 15 and 17, who should submit a clip of no more than five minutes on the theme of student life. These can be about school or university.
The competition is linked to the university’s Director’s Cut series, which brings leading lights from the film world to speak in Aberdeen.
Entries can be submitted individually or in groups. The deadline is November 9.
