(Photograph) - Hundreds of people attended the funeral on Saturday of a 16-year-old student who attempted to shoot his teacher at a school in Coburg, Bavaria, last week. Florian Knottek also shot at the school’s psychologist, wounding her in the thigh, before turning the gun on himself.
The teenager, who had smuggled his father’s pistol and revolver into the high school, was considered a quiet, non-aggressive student, but recently had earned poor grades and fellow students told authorities he had begun dressing all in black. Photograph by AP
