Coming up with new ways to raise money for your school can be an arduous task. Forget school fairs, car washes and raffles - the big money is in going nude.
Twelve men have come up with an interesting project in attempts to support the Vashon Island School District, just off the US coast near Seattle. The project involves posing for a calendar - in their birthday suits.
By day, the group are professionals who commute from Vashon to Seattle by ferry, hence the name, the Dreamboats.
When the men learnt that 11 teachers in the district were facing redundancy, they set about producing a “beefcake calendar” where every month features one of the men with nothing to cover their modesty but a prop from the hobby of their choice.
They aim to sell about 500 calendars and raise $10,000, pledging every cent of the profits to the island’s schools.
