Ministers want to change the emphasis in outdoor education, Robert Brown, Deputy Education Minister, said. “We are moving away from the notion that outdoor education is a singular, discrete and expensive experience to the concept that outdoor learning for all young people should be an intrinsic, ongoing part of pupils’ educational experience,” Mr Brown said.
