Three colleges have come up to the mark, following inspections in the past month. The process of learning and teaching in Glasgow College of Nautical Studies was very good in four subjects and good in four; results for students were mixed - very good in one, good in five and fair in two. In Borders College, the teaching process was very good in five subjects and good in two; students’ progress was very good in three and good in four. In Lews Castle College, the teaching process was very good in two subjects and good in four; student results were very good in one subject and good in five.
