But language learners today can develop grammar, conversation skills and vocabulary by discussing Kindles versus books, the pros and cons of 3D or the endless possibilities of the iPad. Jegcleeve’s resource explores digital technology in a creative lesson that develops core language skills.

What is it?

An interactive whiteboard activity that uses recent iPad adverts from French television as stimuli for discussions. How useful is the technology? And how much of an impact does it have on people’s lives? After the adverts, key vocabulary and sentence starters are shared to help pupils develop their own arguments.

The resource develops listening and comprehension skills.
