A nursery nurse who wrote a series of Punjabi English books after being unable to find suitable texts for her Punjabi evening class has now translated the same stories about six-year-old Mona into Hindi and Gujarati.

After Sushila Sahota, who teaches at Groby Community College in Leicester, featured in The TES earlier this year, she sold 30 sets of the original books. The story was also picked up by the Indian media. The HindiEnglish and GujaratiEnglish dual language books will be available later this year.
