MANY staff in my school have been saving their hard-earned cash to purchase a computer. Having begun the training they intended to carry out some of the 35 hours’ additional work required at home. Persuading them to cary on will now be difficult. Could it be that Mr Blunkett hopes to save even more money? After all, maths teachers are thin on the ground at the moment!
