I AM writing to express my disgust at the NUT’s actions over threshold assessment.

While I understand that the Government made a mess of the law it seems silly that 200,000 teachers should have to put in large amounts of work (quite a few on the NT’s advice) only to have their hopes dashed by a pyrrhic “victory”.

This has possibly done more damage to the morale of teachers than anything else in recent times.
