More teachers have PCs at home

THE number of teachers with Internet access at home has more than doubled in 12 months to 173,000, according to a survey by the British Educational Suppliers’ Association. However,The TES’s call for the Government to help all teachers buy their own laptop has been thwarted by ministers’ decision to end the pound;20 million Computer for Teachers scheme.
