A mother accused of running over a school security guard’s foot with her car has been cleared of assault.

Police dropped the investigation of Ester Lyndley because of a lack of evidence for the alleged incident at King David’s school, in Manchester.

Ms Lyndley was accused after she threatened to take the school to court over “bullying” tactics used to make parents pay financial contributions to the voluntary aided school.
