AN EMPLOYMENT tribunal has ordered Motherwell College to pay pound;5,024 to a former lecturer judged to have been unfairly sacked after she wrongly claimed on her application form that she had O-grade arithmetic.Margaret McMillan, who lectured in travel and tourism, had claimed pound;20,000 compensation but the tribunal ruled she was 75 per cent to blame because she had filled in her application form sloppily.
