The Medical Research Council is launching a series of teaching materials at the ASE’s Annual Meeting in Lancaster next week. The first five titles in a Research Updates series are designed to complement A-levelGNVQ advanced science teaching, featuring such topics as “Engineering Antibodies”, the quest for a cure for cystic fibrosis, and the use of genetic engineeering to produce artificial blood.The publications are the result of the MRC’s new schools liaison service.
