THIS week an indepedent panel upheld the decision by headteacher Brother Francis Patterson and the governors of St Francis Xavier’s College, Liverpool, to exclude Sanchez Palmer, 11, for wearing deadlocks. They did this because the school dress code forbids boys to wear their hair long. But after her son’s appeal failed, Sanchez’s mother vowed to take the case to the High Court.
