THE National Association of Head Teachers is to continue fighting for a member who lost an appeal against her sacking this week. General secretary, David Hart, said the decision of governors at St Luke’s primary school, Silverdale, Staffordshire to uphold the dismissal of headteacher, Jill Kidwell, was “absolutely crackers”. The governors’ appeal panel had found that only one of the original six allegations of misconduct - concerning her absences - had been proved. Others, including bullying and cheating on national tests, had been dropped.
