The National Association of Mathematics (incorporating Inspectors and Consultants) is holding its annual conference at the Crown Hotel, Scarborough from March 30 to April 1. The theme of the conference is “How to Make Mathematics Special to Children”, focusing on mathematics as a problem-solving tool and the place of information technology in mathematics learning. Speakers will include Professor John Mason from the Open University, Gabriel Goldstein HMI, Kath Cross HMI and professional officers from SCAA.
