NATE chair remembered

AN evening to celebrate the life of Terry Furlong, former chair of the National Association for the Teaching of English, is to be held on September 20 at the Queens Park community school, north London. It will include readings, performances and tributes, followed by supper and drinks and mark the launch of a memorial fund in the name of the English teacher, who died of cancer earlier this year.
