Never too late to become a teacher

I was interested in Elaine Elliman’s First Encounter. I am in my fifties and have been a classroom assistant for the past six years. With much encouragement from staff, I have started a degree in education and literacy. I found t hard at first but am now enjoying it and realise I should have done it years ago. Hopefully I may then be able to do a PGCE and become a teacher. It’s never too late to start!
