TAG Theatre Company has appointed a new artistic director after the resignation of Emily Gray. Guy Hollands, pictured right, has started on a part-time basis and will take up the post full time from May 24.

He joins fresh from directing Glasgow’s Citizens Theatre Company in Zinnie Harris’s Nightingale and Chase but is no stranger to TAG, having worked on various projects.

Hollands has worked in Scottish theatre for more than 13 years, developing not only his directing skills, partly as a freelance, but also his reputation as a drama worker in the fields of education and outreach work.

He has been instrumental in developing the Citizens Theatre’s community programme.
