Three new chief officers are to head up council services for children in Wrexham. Hywyn Williams, former acting chief education officer, becomes head of learning and achievement. Clare Field will lead on prevention and inclusion work. And Bob MacLaren will cover fostering and looked-after children as head of safeguarding and support.
