What a complete load of rubbish Curriculum for Excellence is. The problem is not that teachers are looking for more information about what they are supposed to be doing, it is that the whole thing is a tiresome, pointless exercise designed only to justify the salaries of those who came up with it.
It’s time to call it a day on this whole fiasco. And there is plenty more that needs to be jettisoned from education - school improvement plans, How Good is Our School?, etc - that does not in any way improve the education of young people. It’s time to stop wasting time and money on this.
As the saying goes, those that can, do, and those that can’t, teach. I would add, those who can’t teach are the ones who think up all these pointless things for the rest of us to do.
