DETECTIVES investigating the death of a teacher on a school trip on Britain’s highest mountain 41 years ago have interviewed former pupils from as far afield as Australia and South America. Northern Constabulary re-opened inquiries into the death of Howard Rolfe Keeley after receiving new evidence from a member of the party he was leading up Ben Nevis in February 1962. Mr Keeley, known as Tim to friends and colleagues, was leading a party of children from Balgowan School, Dundee, when he fell to his death in the western Highlands at the age of 23.
