The Institute of Educational Assessors, which will be launched next week, has been set up by the National Assessment Agency to offer a forum for examiners to discuss assessment issues. It also aims to represent their views in discussions with the Government.
Kathleen Tattersall, the former head of Britain's largest exam board, is to lead a new body aiming to support examiners.
