My dictionary gives mixed signals, describing the artform’s practitioners thus: A “type of clown” who “can keep a number of balls in the air at one time”, or “keep several activities in progress”, or, more worryingly, “can manipulate facts so as to give a false picture”.
We’ll have to wait and see.
