Hibs star David Murphy was joined by pupils from Wardie Primary in Edinburgh to launch the Recycle4Kit scheme earlier this month. The scheme, run by the Scottish Schools Football Association with recycling company Redeem and Errea Sportswear, enables schools to recycle old mobile phones and used printer cartridges in return for points that can be redeemed against equipment from footballs and water bottles to bibs, tracksuits and strips.
