Laura Rees-Hughes has created royal top trumps cards. Each card has a royal image and on each are three categories - nobility, popularity and etiquette, followed by a sum.


In a regal CSI activity, pupils test diamonds and crowns to make sure they are fit for a queen. In fiendishlyclever's The Mystery of the Crown Jewels, pupils receive a mock-memo from the palace, asking them to test their authenticity.

Modern languages

Both Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria learned to speak French. Indeed, the menu for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee dinner was largely in French. Help pupils create a French menu with Reading a menu (lexilalas), Menu design (slick), Les repas (Isb4) and Foods of France (lagouteuse).
