A Caerphilly comprehensive is being threatened with an all-out strike by members of teachers’ union the NASUWT Cymru, in a dispute over new teaching and learning responsibility pay points. Pontllanfraith school was closed to pupils for three days this week and two last week, when the union’s 35 members walked out. A council spokesman said it remained committed to resolving the dispute, which dates back to March.
