Ninety per cent of students say they are satisfied with the standard of education they get from colleges, according to a survey by further education’s funding quango.

The learner satisfaction survey is published by the Learning and Skills Council. Melanie Hunt, national learning director at the LSC, said: “The findings are a tremendous achievement for the FE sector. We must now push even harder to make sure students get as much as possible out of learning.”

The survey also found that 79 per cent of vocational students felt colleges had succeeded in giving them the skills they need for their jobs.
