The Scottish Qualifications Authority “always welcomes feedback”, it states in the briefest of responses to the charges levelled against it last week by a group of secondary teachers. “We will take into account the comments made about qualifications as one part of the whole range of views we receive as we work with partners and stakeholders in the ongoing development and maintenance of Scotland’s qualifications,” the authority states.
In next week’s TES Scotland, Judith Gillespie, a member of the SQA board but writing in a personal capacity, will hit back.
