No lessons for 'illegal arrivals'

AUSTRALIA: Almost 500 children of asylum-seekers are being held in detention camps without schooling. Parliamentary committee members who visited the camps produced a damning report on their conditions and urged that children be allowed to attend local schools. Refugee groups have criticised Australia's policy of detaining all women and children among "illegal arrivals". Full story
