YOUR piece “Tussle for governor precedence” (TES, June 21) is misleading in two respects. The governor organisations are not “at loggerheads” and the National Association of Governors and Managers is not in competition with the National Governors Council for members. We have made it clear to all NGC members that we think it sensible for them to join both organisations and “get the best of both worlds”.
